First Look Club
One Year Later - First Look Club
Deep in the doldrums of Covid lockdowns, we put our heads down and tried to figure something out that would make everyone a little happier – ourselves, our customers, and our suppliers. With the world turned on its head and uncertainty biting at everyone’s heels, we turned to what we know best – wine. Then we turned to the people who make the wine – would they be willing to talk about their wines with their customers in Ireland?
Finally, we turned to you, our customers and asked if you would be willing to support us and our winemakers with this unique opportunity – taste these wines made with care, meet the winemaker and make opening a bottle of wine on Thursday night an engaging evening spent learning a little more about the vast world of wine. Thus First Look Club was born, and we are so excited to see how it has come along.
In case you’re not familiar with First Look Club, it is a monthly subscription where customers receive a specially selected bottle from one of our independent winemakers. We then virtually gather to chat with the winemaker, while drinking the bottle of wine that they made. The subscription is offered in 2-bottle, 3-bottle, and 6-bottle tiers, so you also receive a sampling of a few other bottles that we are particularly mad about at the moment. You can buy the subscription for yourself, or as a gift. There is also an option for a one-off purchase, where you can get a taste of the experience before committing to the subscription.
Nearly a year into First Look Club and we are looking to shake up our offering. We have a few ideas on our end to revitalise FLC, but this community is nothing without our customers.
We would love to hear your thoughts on what you would like to see more of, or less of, from FLC. Please pop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas and feedback. If Instagram and Twitter are more your speed, contact us there.
