Bordeaux Box Office 6-Pack

Because at their best they are confounding, delicious show stoppers, and we can put you on the right track. Direct from the Chateau with over 20% off!

We were recently at the Paris Wine Expo prospecting some new brands and came across an opportunity on some of the most serious wines in Bordeaux including the biggest names such as Haut Brion and Cheval Blanc. The top wines have long since been out of the reach of mere mortals, and while the prices in general have been going up, we were pleasantly surprised to find some great value on a few wines that have been constant performers.

We have an amazing 6-Pack made up of 4 Left Bank and 2 Right Bank wines (though all are available individually too). Chasse Spleen (2015 - 94 Pts) and Chateau Pedesclaux (2018 - 95 Pts) have long been my go to for value and class, absolutely banging Clarets! Chateau Haut-Bages Liberal (2016 - 96 Pts) is a famous 5th Growth from Pauillac. Echo de Lynch Bages (2020 - 96 Pts) is the second wine of the Irish-linked house Chateau Lynch-Bages, also a Pauillac gem. Moving over the the Right Bank, where Merlot pre-dominates, Figue de Nenin (2019 - 93 Pts) is another famous second label, while Quintault (2014 - 93 Pts) is a wine of growing reputataion. One of each in the 6-Pack is €323 (Wines available round the traps here for €417), but individually the pricing is superb too.
