Rioja is changing. Geographical Indicators will now accompany the old crianza etc ageing model. We have 6 Rioja Reds that show the new versatility of the region - 3 traditional and 3 new wave examples.

Starting with the old school; we've a pair of hotshot Crianza. La Mateo Vendimia is a creamy, rich Rioja from Rioja Oriental. Tio Martin Crianza is a layered, deep, dark beauty. Aradon Graciano is a limited edition offering, manual harvest and selection that seems to scream - why are we not seeing more Graciano varietal wines?



On the new wave, El Mozo Malaspiedras is a 100% Tempranillo with a nice lick of French, American and Hungarian oak. There's a double act of Cosmonauta, 2 varying blends that untilise ultra-traditional methods and philosophies that pre-date modern commercial Rioja, making them ultra new-wave! (The astronaut with the sickle on the label signifies the doorway to how our great, great Grandparents made wine according the the wine makers).

This pack lets you travel back in time and discover the Rioja of the past - legacy vines, old techniques and plots. It also lets you surf the new wave, modern, bright, funky Rioja. The illuminating printed DEEP DIVE NOTES tie it all together - GET INITIATED!
