Cabernet Club.
It may not be the coolest grape, but it's probably the most well known. Cabernet Sauvignon is famous the world over for it's heavily structured, tannic wines that are given to long periods of age in oak. Cabernet produces some of the longest lived red wines in the world. Deep black and blue fruits, cedar, spice and cigar underpin the variety, and it is an ideal partner of steak, grilled meats and bold flavours - high tannic content is hugely favourable to match high protein content. Cabernet's spiritual home is Bordeaux, but it'll grow anywhere - we've got 6 from across the world. Stunning value at €110 (RRP €159!)

This is quite an extraordinary pack for value. Starting in France and with a thoroughbred, FDS Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect intro to the style. To Provence, a robust, dark and very inky Cabernet with a few drops of Syrah added to it, Chateau La Coste 'Le Rouge' is brooding and delicious.

Moving to Bordeaux, where Cab. Sauv finds it's spiritual home, we have a pair of Cabernet blends. From the right Bank, a super approachable, Merlot-led blend, Haut Dambert Cuvee Clemence. From the left Bank, Chateau Cissac Haut Medoc. This is a super-classic Claret (the old fashioned term for Left Bank Cabernet), beautiful deep, dark black fruits with some cigar box and leather.

From the new world then, a couple of extraordinary wines. HOBO Cabernet Sauvignon from the Anderson Valley in California will be familiar to many Winelabbers; Craven Cabernet Sauvignon is outrageously good, made by an Australian Cabernet expert in Stellenbosch, South Africa, it is fresh, succulent and long.

Fall in love with Cabernet again! Amazing value!
Over 30% off RRP at €110! (€159)
