Andillian Organic Mendoza Malbec 6-PACK

Andillian is owned by the Provence Rose specialists, Chateau La Coste. They took this property and attacked the wine making with the same spare no expense approach they take to their French operations, buying the best vineyards (certified organic), and installing the best equipment and wine making talent. The last couple of vintages have seen them pop up on the radars of the wine press for their stylish and elegant Malbec.

This is a prime example of great wines are made in the vineyard, not the winery. Certified Organic, hand selected and picked fruit, with some foot trodding, this isn't your average high volume Malbec, this is something more. The idea here is to let Malbec be Malbec. Steel and concrete are used in the fermentation and elevage to achieve varietal concentration and intensity, with just a lash of oak for some warmth and comfort. The wine has plenty of stuffing, but is concerned with perfume, elegance, length and balance. Malbec has been popular now for years, but when you drink Adillian you realise that Malbec has grown up....so what better time to appreciate this maturity than the first week in September.
